The FN 509 MRD Comp is a purpose-built 9mm handgun designed for shooters who demand both performance and adaptability. With a full-sized frame and a quick-detach compensator that cuts muzzle rise by up to 25%, the 509 MRD Comp balances control and speed in a platform that’s ready out of the box. It features a flat-faced trigger with a clean 90-degree break, suppressor-height 3-dot green tritium night sights, and an optics-ready slide with FN’s Low Profile Mounting System, including an ACRO plate. The cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel includes a polished chamber and feed ramp, ensuring reliable cycling and consistent accuracy.

Built for high-round-count sessions and practical shooting applications, the 509 MRD Comp includes three 17-round magazines with weighted baseplates for quicker reloads and better drop clearance. The enhanced grip texture and interchangeable backstraps help maintain a secure hold under pressure, while fully ambidextrous controls make it suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters. With front and rear slide serrations, a recessed target crown, and a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, this pistol comes equipped for serious use in a wide range of conditions.
